A lover of all things bright, Jeanette Sloan can often be seen wearing joyful colors (orange and pink in particular). After several battles with cancer, Jeanette embraces standing out, being unique and shining. Her experience has taught her to stop comparing and really dig into what brings her joy.

Jeanette also created "BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People Of Color) in fiber," a directory of BIPOC individuals in the crafting community. Her goal was to bring BIPOC designers and makers to the forefront, giving more visibility to publications, events, and other crafting spaces.
