How it Started
Ever since I learned to knit at age 16, I was hooked – but lonely. I longed for fiber friends who, like me, were looking for softer yarns, modern designs, and more authentic, creative connections.
So, in my 30s, while raising 3 kids and running another business with my husband Brent, I started an improbable “side hustle” and opened a modern yarn store called Loops.
Today, Loops has evolved into the Knit Stars Flagship store, a 6,000+ sq ft creative emporium that’s the creative epicenter of a global movement to Knit the World Together.

We’re in the Center One shopping center on the 3rd floor.
For easiest access: Turn east off of Peoria onto 35th Street. Go past Cafe Olé and turn right into the valet parking lot (it’s free). Look up and you’ll see Knit Stars on the 3rd floor. Follow the main walkway to the elevator access inside the lobby. There’s also an exterior staircase but the elevator is much easier!

Knit Stars offers both private lessons and an innovative Class On Demand model.
Private Lessons are $30 an hour. To schedule a private lesson on the project or technique of your choice, click here.
Knit Stars Classes On Demand™ are complimentary – we only ask that you purchase your materials at Knit Stars. Pop in anytime during open hours – alone or with friends. One of our awesome team members will guide you through selecting your materials and help you get comfy at one of our learning tables. Follow the self-directed video instructions, and if you need help, just ask!
