(Approved by Sharon from Security, of course.) 🐈

Bronwyn, (the colorful, speckle-loving, airport-obsessed Season 6 Knit Star you know as Casapinka), has a fun Mystery Knit-along starting soon! The Snark-O-Meter is coming in hot starting August 14, and with 6 clues released over 6 weeks it’s just what the doctor ordered!

We spoke with Sharon and got some input on a few punchy color combos that she agrees are sure to make this project pop.

Shop the kits here, and be on the lookout for more Snark-O-Meter updates to come!

Twinkle, twinkle, little star… ✨

“Circe” is one of those projects that simply sparkles, both on your needles and on the special little one you lovingly knit it for.

Whether you’ve been wanting to try colorwork, or already love it, Circe is a sweet intarsia sweater with endless color combination possibilities. Bekah knit hers with main color “Flyin’ Elvis” and contrast colors “Unplugged,” “Concord,” and “Zest.”

Choose four colors of super-saturated Spun Right Round Squish DK for this funky-fun cardigan. The sizing ranges from preemie to 12 years, so there’s sure to be someone you know who would love a little shine!

Pico de Gallo is an easy, flavorful summer appetizer that is fast to assemble and sure to bring smiles around the chip bowl! This quick Pico recipe from Cookie and Kate will come together quick leaving more time for stitching!

Ingredients:
1 cup finely chopped white onion (about 1 small onion)
1 medium jalapeño or serrano pepper, ribs and seeds removed, finely chopped (decrease or omit if sensitive to spice, or add another if you love heat)
¼ cup lime juice
¾ teaspoon fine sea salt, more to taste
1 ½ pounds ripe red tomatoes (about 8 small or 4 large), chopped
½ cup finely chopped fresh cilantro (about 1 bunch)

Instructions:
In a medium serving bowl, combine the chopped onion, jalapeño, lime juice and salt. Let it marinate for about 5 minutes while you chop the tomatoes and cilantro.
Add the chopped tomatoes and cilantro to the bowl and stir to combine. Taste, and add more salt if the flavors don’t quite sing.
For the best flavor, let the mixture marinate for 15 minutes or several hours in the refrigerator. Serve as a dip, or with a slotted spoon or large serving fork to avoid transferring too much watery tomato juice with your pico. Pico de gallo keeps well in the refrigerator, covered, for up to 4 days.
