The cashmere we waited a year for! 😅

We’ve been waiting almost a year for this luscious, luxury yarn from Malabrigo to arrive! “Caprino” is Spanish for “goat,” a nod to the 20% cashmere combined with 80% superfine merino that makes this yarn next-to-your-neck soft.

Loretta made “Doo Wop” by Lisa Hannes using 2 skeins each of Natural, Plomo, and Matisse Blue on Size 6 and 7 needles. Big color blocks, garter stripes and a graphic mosaic motif create a fascinating interplay color and texture in this eye-catching shawl. Tassels at the tips give it a fun finish!

Loretta chose Natural, Plomo, and Matisse Blue for her piece.

Crocheters will love the “Hominy, Too” mitts that Loops Trooper Sherri designed using just ONE skein of Caprino. The mitt pattern is free with purchase of Caprino upon request.

How about trying out this month’s featured Loops Pop-Up dyer…with an easy 1-skein wonder?

With just one skein of Lichen and Lace 1-ply Superwash, you can knit up your own “Rosarium” by Cabinfour – shown here in the Wildflowers colorway.

Ravelry knitter Thebluevault said, “This is a beautiful pattern, elegant in its simplicity, with just enough detail and balance to please the eye. The stitch patterns and repeats are very straightforward, so if you’re new to lace, this is a good first or second project.”

We’ve been selling out of Kim Dyes Yarn Soufflé Bulky for months now, so we were tickled pink (or blue?) when Kim agreed to dye more kits for the Fisherman’s Rib cowl after we sold out the first day.

Now they are back in stock!

Your kit includes one skein of Speckled Robin’s Egg and one skein of Dandelion in Kim Dyes Souffle Bulky.

This design is a modification of Susan B. Anderson’s “Co.wl.” We cast on 64 stitches on a size 11 needle for a piece that hugs your neck and fits right inside your coat.

Grab your Souffle here before it sells out again! 🏃🏽‍♀️

Exploring new flavors at home is pretty common these days. PureWow has a great way to get that takeout taste in a healthy way in your own kitchen! Their 20-Minute Paleo Egg Roll bowls have the saucy, savory interior of your favorite Chinese finger food, minus the greasy shell.

Once you’ve invested in some sesame oil and rice vinegar, you’ll be *amazed* at the way your at-home “takeout” blossoms with flavor!

Ingredients:
1½ tablespoons sesame oil
3 carrots, shredded
¼ head red cabbage, shredded
¼ head green cabbage, shredded
1 bunch scallions, sliced on the bias
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon minced ginger
1 pound ground pork
2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
1½ tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon Sriracha
Sesame seeds, for serving
Cilantro leaves, for serving
Thinly sliced red chiles, for serving

Directions:
1. In a medium skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the carrots, red cabbage and green cabbage and cook until tender, about 3 minutes.

2. Add the scallions, garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute. Add the pork and sauté until it’s no longer pink, 6 to 7 minutes.

3. Season the mixture with soy sauce, rice vinegar and Sriracha. Serve topped with sesame seeds, cilantro and red chiles. Serves 4.
