🧶The doctor is IN
BY SHELLEY BRANDER
At some point during their first knitting lesson, every single person I’ve ever taught to knit has asked the same question:
“But what happens if I make a mistake once I get home? Can you teach me how to fix it myself?”
And always, I would smile reassuringly and say that learning to fix your mistakes can take awhile, because first you have to understand how stitches work.
“So if you drop a stitch, just bring it back in and I’ll help you,” I’d say.
Well now, dear friend, I’m so happy to report that someone has written a book that truly puts the “fixing power” into your hands from the very start. It’s a book that belongs on every knitter’s bookshelf (even if you’ve been knitting for decades, like me.)
Patty Lyons’ latest book, “Knitting ER: A Step-by-Step guide to Fixing Your Knits, Before and After Bind-Off” is, quite simply, a revelation.
Now I know you might be thinking, I don’t need a book…if I run into a problem I don’t know how to fix, I’ll just YouTube it.
But here’s the thing…if you spend some time with this little charmer of a book now, you’ll feel more empowered to take on the projects that have been intimidating you just a bit.
The icings on the cake are a link to an accompanying Knitting ER Video Class with Patty, and adorable illustrations by Season 10 Knit Star Franklin Habit.
You can either order just the autographed book, or follow the instructions to order on Amazon, upload your receipt and get some extra goodies.
xoxo,
