Think back to your first project.

Did you use yarn that was scratchy enough to scrub dishes?

Same here. 😅 😅 😅

Who knows how many projects we knit before we discovered the “good stuff” – yarn that you just can keep your hands off – fibers that inspire you to knit *one more row.*

We want to help beginners find GOOD yarn right away… so we created our exclusive “house blend” Loops Luxe Royal Alpaca – a blend of royal alpaca and mulberry silk.

Loops Luxe is available at Loops in 3-packs, and our Amazon store offers single skeins and superkits. When you leave reviews on our Amazon store, it helps people find good yarn!

If you’ve knit with Loops Luxe from our Amazon store, we would so appreciate if you would click here to leave a quick review and help spread the love for this super-soft yarn.

One of our favorite projects for Loops Luxe is “Knotty but Nice.” This shawl gives you some time with simple stockinette, garter and increases – and before you know it, you have a soft squishy piece that you’ll wear with everything.

This yarn is available for purchase in single skeins only in our Amazon store, so you can head over and get creative with your favorite color combo! You’ll need 3 skeins of Main Color and one skein in Contrasting Color for your “Knotty But Nice!” It knits up in a flash on Size 13 needles.

Explore our Loops Luxe Royal Alpaca (and leave a review!) here!

🎶 Take me down to “Leftover City” where the stitches are sweet and the colors are pretty! 🎶

“Leftover City” by Kacey Herlihy is so much fun to make – and wear! It’s knit in the round, and if you’ve never done stranded colorwork before – *this* the the place to start. The alternating colors are a cinch to memorize, so you can keep your eyes on your work as you stitch around.

Loops Trooper Carla loved the color changes in this cowl so much that she’s planning a faded sweater using this technique.

We’re knitting the “Leftover City” with one Spun Right Round Classic Sock Mini Skein Set. These cohesive palettes are packed with juicy tones and speckles that are hard to resist!

We have two palettes in stock – “Crocodile Tears” (as shown on the model) and “Spill the Tea” – and two are newly available for pre-order: “Cauldron” and “Chalk Paint.”

Knit your “Leftover City” cowl with one Spun Right Round Classic Sock Mini Skein Set and Size 4 and 5 16″ circulars.

Choose your palette here.

Do you have “Snack-y Dinner Night” at your house?

It can take many forms, but at the core, Snack-y dinner means no cooking and more knitting time!

This “15-Minute Mezze Plate” from PureWow is a great place to start your new tradition of Snack-y Dinner. “Za’atar” is a Middle Eastern spice blend, and you probably have most of the ingredients in your spice cabinet. A quick Google will show you how to mix some up.

Ingredients for 4 servings:
4 whole-wheat pita rounds
4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
4 teaspoons za’atar
1 cup Greek yogurt
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 cup hummus
1 cup marinated artichoke hearts
1 cup sliced roasted red peppers
2 cups assorted olives
2 cups cherry tomatoes
4 ounces salami

Directions:
1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brush both sides of each pita with olive oil and season with the za’atar.

2. Working in batches, add the pita to the skillet and toast until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side. Slice each pita into quarters.

3. Season the Greek yogurt with salt and pepper. To assemble, divide the pitas, Greek yogurt, hummus, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, olives, tomatoes and salami among four plates.
